“Perfect Love Letter Contest” Rules
Mission: To foster the fine art of letter writing.
In 250 words or less, write a love letter that would receive adamant approval and knowing nod from Jane Austen. The criteria are as follows:
1. There are four eligibility levels: Adult, Middle School Student, Junior High School Student, and High School Student. Winners will be chosen at all four levels.
2. Subject matter is LOVE. The letter can be directed to a loved one, or a cherished place or thing. Judging criteria will be based on creativity, heartfelt emotion and true expressions of love and appearance. The letter has to be a contemporary original composition.
3. Original letter must be handwritten and must be accompanied by a typewritten version. Additionally, a Word document (12 point type) or .pdf version must be sent electronically to [email protected]. The word “Love Letter” & your name must appear in the subject line of the email transmission, preferably in that order.
4. Mail or hand deliver original letter, typewritten letter and submission form to:

5. Deadline: Submissions must be received by Wednesday, March 3, 4:00pm.
